Excel is still the default tool for reporting and analysis in many organisations — but a lot of time gets lost to manual cleaning, fragile spreadsheets, and “workarounds” that don’t scale. This practical 2-day workshop helps you build stronger Excel foundations and apply them to everyday business tasks: preparing messy data, creating reliable calculations, summarising results, and presenting insights clearly. We also introduce a realistic way to use AI tools (e.g., Copilot/ChatGPT) alongside Excel — to speed up formula drafting, troubleshoot errors, and help you communicate insights — while keeping human judgement and validation at the centre. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to: Clean and structure data for analysis (sort, filter, validate, remove duplicates) Use core business formulas with confidence (IF, SUMIF/COUNTIF, IFERROR, logical tests) Use lookups across tables (e.g., VLOOKUP) Summarise and explore data with PivotTables and Pivot Charts Create simple dashboards and highlight key messages using conditional formatting Use AI to accelerate your workflow — without outsourcing accuracy or context Ideal for professionals who use Excel regularly and want to improve speed, accuracy, and clarity in business reporting.
