This workshop helps you move beyond static reports to dynamic dashboards that not only inform but inspire action across your organization. How we help you get there Over two immersive days, you’ll learn both the technical skills and the thinking process behind impactful dashboards. You will: 🎯Understand the role of data visualization in driving value across the analytics value chain. 🎯Learn key principles of designing dashboards that tell a clear story. 🎯Build confidence using Power BI to prepare data, model relationships, and create impactful visuals. 🎯Master techniques for crafting dashboards that lead decision-makers toward insight and action. By the end, you won’t just build dashboards — you’ll build data stories that drive decisions. What you’ll learn (using Power BI & Excel) Through hands-on exercises and real-world examples, you will: 📌Prepare and transform data using Power Query. 📌Build data models and apply DAX formulas. 📌Create core visualizations: charts, maps, timelines, scatterplots, and more. 📌Design interactive dashboards that surface actionable insights. 📌Apply visualization and storytelling principles to maximize clarity and engagement. Technical Requirements Please bring a laptop with Internet access, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI Desktop (latest version) pre-installed.
